To defend against the ghosts, you can purchase and set up different hunting weapons using the coins you earn. Start with a cotton swab launcher, which decreases the ghost's HP. As you progress, you can upgrade to more powerful weapons like a syringe launcher or a scissors launcher.
In addition to the weapons, you can also upgrade your door to increase its HP and prevent it from disappearing. Upgrade your bed as well to earn more coins and purchase better weapons and doors. Keep in mind that repairing the door has no cost but comes with a cooldown period.
